𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹

       According to the official school-performance results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 1, 2026, Colegio de Santa Catalina de Alejandria, Inc. (COSCA) recorded the largest number of examinees among institutions in Negros Oriental in the latest Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE).

 

The PRC results show that 93 COSCA examinees took the examination, making it the institution with the highest number of CLE examinees in the province. Other institutions in Negros Oriental recorded between 12 and 59 examinees. Of the 93 COSCA examinees, 51 passed, resulting in an institutional passing rate of 54.84 percent. This was 2.72 percentage points lower than the national passing rate of 57.56 percent, recorded among 29,452 examinees nationwide.

 

Despite the institutional passing rate being below the national figure, the results highlight the substantial number of COSCA criminology graduates who participated in the licensure examination. The 93 examinees represented the largest cohort among institutions in Negros Oriental, while the 51 successful candidates marked their entry into professional practice.

 

The results likewise provide the institution with a basis for further strengthening its academic programs, licensure examination preparation, faculty support, and student development initiatives. Continued assessment of these areas may help enhance the performance of future examinees. COSCA congratulates the 51 successful examinees and recognizes all 93 candidates who took the CLE. Their participation reflects the continued pursuit of professional licensure among the institution’s criminology graduates.

 

As the institution moves forward, the latest PRC results serve not only as a measure of current performance but also as an opportunity for reflection and continuous improvement in preparing future criminology professionals for competent and ethical service to the community.
